THE REJECTED VESSEL (Par t 5)
Text: 1 Samuel 15
INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we learnt that it is better to hearken
to the voice of God rather than the voice of men and that when
God says no, nobody can say yes because He has the final
say.
Today, as we continue in our study, may the Holy Spirit teach
us and give us the heart of understanding in Jesus Name.
1. IT IS BETTER NOT TO FALL THAN TO RISE
It is a good thing to rise when you fall, but it is even better not to
fall at all than to make an attempt to rise.
I Sam.15:25-27, Ps.37:24, 145:14, Mic.7:8, Eccl.4:10,
Heb.10:31, 6:6, Lk.10:18, Isa.14:12, Acts 1:18-20, I Cor.
10:12, 2Pet.1:10
2. NO ONE IS INDISPENSABLE
Every man has his own unique nature and
responsibility to God. However, God can still do without a person
if He wishes, as no one is indispensable to God.
I Sam. 15:28, Gen. 1:31, Ps. 139:14, I Pet. 2:9, Rom. 8:28, Jn.
15:16, Acts 26:16-18, I Thes. 2:11-12, Jn.15:1-2, Mt. 3:8-10,
Rev. 3:15-16.
