By Min Olomo Adewale Joseph -
Our father in the lord and General Overseer of Reconciliation Centre Worldwide gave us the theme for this month of June" The Glory of God"
This topic had been treated in so many ways by various preachers & also portrayed more by our parish pastor as well Pastor John Sunday.
Having aware what "The Glory of God" entails and its significance to our well being as a true child of God. We will now be looking at what we need to Sustain the path of God's glory during and after this covid-19 pandemic era
Firstly, let's look at our Bible text: John 15 verse 5.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Now let us take our -
BIBLE READING: 2 Kings 6:1-7.
And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.
3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.
4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

Revival comes through total obedience to the word of God. This is why the Bible admonishes us to preach the word and spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ as a matter of urgency.
However, Christians should wait to be sent forth and must never go alone, that is, without the Holy Spirit. Luke 24:49 says:
“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
Romans 10:17 says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” at the hearing of the word of God, the corrupt and sinful mind immediately begins to do a self-analysis, followed by personal conviction and repentance. Romans 10:14 says “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” however, all these will not yield the desired result unless the work is accomplished by) the power of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 says:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
As we strive to populate the Church building, we must remember our greater duty to prepare the people of God for heaven through the correct and unbiased teaching of the word of God. As you make up your mind to live in obedience to His word and take every opportunity to share the Gospel with at least one person daily, do not go without the Holy Spirit. Every Christian needs the help of the Holy Spirit to fulfil the will of God for his/her life. As you earnestly seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit, your prayers will be answered, in the mighty name of Jesus.
In conclusion people of God, either the Lockdown is totally lifted or not, either the churches resumes physically or not, one thing is certain and that is that we as a child of God must all be prepared to (See the Glory of God) when the trumpet shall sound
If you are hearing me or reading this message today and you are yet to be born again, kindly repent today and give your life to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ today because tomorrow might be too late.
I pray you and I will not perish when the trumpet shall sound in Jesus mighty name. Amen
Shall we pray....

SORROW OF A BACKSLIDER – Part 3
By Pastor John
RECONCILIATION CENTRE BIBLE STUDY ONLINE ON 23rd JUNE, 2020. 7-8pm
INTRODUCTION: In the second part of this series, we discovered that backsliding is not merely ceasing to follow Jesus Christ. Changing a Christian decision, condoning sin, remembering old glories, resting on oars, being retrogressive, loss of enthusiasm and failure to make disciples are all cases of backsliding. We also discovered that curses of backsliding include disappointment by Christian’s elders, satanic deceit, pride of achievement, evil association, and comfort arising from worldly success, wrong spiritual leadership and severe trials. In this study, we want to consider the sorrow of backslider, how to cure backsliding and how to prevent it. May the Lord quicken our understanding as we study at His feet in Jesus name. Amen.
THE LESSON OUTLINES:
1. THE SORROWS OF A BACKSLIDER ARE MANY AND VARIED
2. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE
1.THE SORROWS OF A BACKSLIDER ARE MANY AND VARIED
A backslider has many problems to contend with. Some of this problem are
(a) a deep feeling of emptiness
(b) Severe loneliness
(c) Misery
(d) Anxiety
(e) Poverty spiritual as well as physical
(f) Sickness (g) Inability to approach God
(h) inability to witness the due to guilty conscience.
This is because when a backslider loses the only genuine friend in the world, he will quickly realize that there is no substitute for Christ anywhere.
Ps.22:1,146:4, 51:8, 11-15, Isa.59:1-2,8, Luk.15:16, Pro.14:15, Rom.2:9, Amos.8:11, Jer.5:4, Deut.28:15-58
2. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE
If you are a backslider and you want full restoration, you must first of all allocate where you went wrong, repent and restitute your ways. Then you can stall all over again. But surely it better never to backslide even once. To prevent backsliding, you must be willing to lose your life in order to find it.
The step you are to take constantly includes
(i) Mortification of the flesh
(ii) crucifixion of affections
(iii) consecration of all you consider as gain
(iv) separation from earthly ties and
(v) living a life of absolute surrender.

PUTTING GOD’S GLORY ON DISPLAY
BY: PASTOR JOHN S.
TEXTUAL: 1Cor.10:38, Ps.19:1-10
First of all and for most, I give glory to Almighty God for His grace over me and I appreciate our Father in the Lord Daddy G. O. for the privilege. Also I appreciate all the ministers and all the members that stay connected for today’s service. I pray God will decorate our lives with His glory in Jesus name. Amen. I want to quickly discuss with us on the above topic that says “Putting Gods Glory on Display”.
INTRODUCTION: What is putting God’s glory on display? Before I explain that, let me quickly explain the meaning of the word “glory”. The word Glory {from the Latin word Gloria, meaning “fame, renown”} it is used to describe the manifestation of the presence of God in human perspective through Abrahamic religion. Now the meaning of the word “God’s glory”, though our father in the Lord Daddy G.O. had explained much about this last two Sundays ago. Even though there is no amount of explanation can rightly describe the glory of God. But just to fill in the gap, permit me to put it this way. The glory of God is the infinite beauty and greatness of God’s manifold perfections. God is in a class by Himself. He has infinite perfections, infinite greatness and infinite worth. This is because He has the Holiness that none has. (Exo.15:11, 1Sam.2:2, Deut.3:24) Now, “putting it on display” simply means to make it manifest, seen and known in every area of our lives and in everything we do. {1Cor.10:31}.
HOW TO PUT THE GLORY OF GOD ON DISPLAY
(i) Step out of your comfort zone. In other words, get out of your pleasurable life of sin. (Pro. 14:34) says “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people”. None reveals the glory of God while living in sin but only in righteousness that his glory can be made manifested. (Matt.5:16)
(ii) Dare to do the impossible. This is going extra miles to do what others considered to too difficult to do. i.e.
(a) Praise Him the way others can not. {Davidic praise}
(b) Praying the way others can not. { Hanna, Jabez, Hezikaih’s type of prayer}
(c) Live a holy life the way others can not. { Zachariah and Elizabeth still considered righteous and blameless at their old age, despite their life challenges Luk.1:6}.
(d) Sacrificing what others can not. [Solomon’s sacrifice and Abraham’s sacrificing his only son, despite his hopeless situation Gen.9}. Etc.
(iii) Your faith must be at work. To make the glory of God reveal or manifest in your life you need an action faith. In fact, without faith nothing works in Christendom. {Heb.11:6-8, Matt.17:20, 8:26}
(iv) put your trust in Him, especially in the time of trials. Jesus said “if we believe we shall see the glory of God” {Jn.11:40}. {Ps.34:5} “They look unto Him, and were lightered: and their faces were not ashamed”.
(v) Promote unity, love, and peace. {Heb.12:14} “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”. For the glory of God to be revealed in your life, you need to forgive as many that have offended you and live in peace, love and unity with every one.
CONCLUSION: We must be a carrier of the presence of God, if His glory must be displayed in our life. And for us to be the carrier of His presence, we must strictly live by the above steps. I pray the grace and power to live by them, God will grant unto us and His glory shall be revealed in every area of our life in Jesus name. Amen. Stay safe and stay bless.

MANIFESTATION OF GOD'S GLORY
BY PASTOR O.O ABEL
TEXT: PSALM 19 VS 1 -10
(AUDIO 1)
An action, display, demonstration, showing, exhibition, presentation, indication, illustration, declaration, expression, profession. All these are manifestation.
You might have heard a man possessed of evil spirit manifesting or demonstrating.
A very good example is in the book of
Mark 5 verse 1-5
1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit
3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
Now you have a clear picture of what manifestation is.
This is a message that will transform your life, you can be rest assured that your life will never remain the same.
WHAT IS GLORY?
With many other doctrines in Scripture, we typically run to a couple of default passages that describe the issue at hand, and we feel as if we're able to walk away with some general understanding of that topic. But that strategy doesn't work with the doctrine of God's glory, because God's glory lives above and beyond any type of description or definition. You can say for sure that God is glorious – our Bible declares that he is – but you cannot accurately and fully describe in words the glory that Scripture declares. Perhaps the only workable path into some understanding of the grandeur of the glory of God is to read the entire Bible from cover to cover over and over again, looking for divine glory. Why? Because the glory of God isn't defined in his Word; no, his glory is so grand that it splashes across every page of his book.
That being said, there are places where Scripture attempts to define the hugeness of the glory of God with the smallness of human language so we can get a glimpse of what it's like. For example: the prophet Isaiah, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, stretches human language to its furthest point of elasticity in order to give us a little glimpse of God's glory. He writes, "Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand?" (Isaiah 40:12).
So, when the Bible speaks of God's glory, what is it talking about? The doctrine of God's glory encompasses the greatness, beauty, and perfection of all that he is.
The glory of God is a visible power. In the Old Testament, the glory appeared as a cloud, smoke or fire. This visible power is also known as Shekinah glory, which is the Hebrew name given to the presence of God dwelling on the earth.
The nation of Israel saw the glory when God came down to meet them on Mount Sinai. Exodus 24:17 (KJV) says, “The sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount.”
The prophet Habakkuk got a glimpse of that fiery glory, too. He described it as like the sun, blazing in the sky: “His brightness was as the light; he had horns [or shafts] coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power” (Habakkuk 3:4, KJV).
The same glory that raised Jesus from the dead was manifested as fire by night and a cloud by day in the wilderness (Exodus 13:21).
This same glory separated Israel and the land of Goshen from the rest of Egypt when there was light in the land of Goshen, but not in Egypt (Exodus 10:23). What was that light? The glory. The glory of God’s presence.
PRAY FOR THE GLORY
How do you pray for the glory of God? First, pray that the glory will be revealed to you and in you. You can see and experience the glory of God, but you must diligently ask and seek for it to be revealed. When we pray the glory into the earth, miracles, signs and wonders will occur in the Church and in our own personal lives.
When Moses saw the glory of God, he asked, saying, “Please, show me Your glory” (Exodus 33:18, NKJV). When believers gathered together in a spirit of unity, seeking the Lord, the glory appeared in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost, and sat on the head of each person there (Acts 2:1-4).
WALK IN THE GLORY (AUDIO 3)
The glory of God looks for a dwelling place. The original house for the glory of God was the tabernacle. But under the New Covenant, the Holy Spirit builds a temple in every believer. First Corinthians 3:16 says, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (NKJV). We are God’s house—His temple. Only, this temple is no longer in a fixed location. This house can walk and talk and preach the gospel!
Now, it’s one thing to have the glory, but it’s another to know how to walk in it. The good news? You have everything you need inside you to do so.
WARNING ! ONLY YOU CAN STOP THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S GLORY IN YOUR LIFE
Mark 5:8 says “For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.”
This shows that evil spirit manifestation can be stopped by God,
But nobody can stop the manifestation of God’s glory upon your life except you yourself.
Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
As good as God’s glory is, your sin is a taboo to its manifestation. Re –trace your ways and keep enjoying the manifestation of His glory.
