New year sermon on "THERE"

             "THERE” 

Scripture reading: Gen.12:1

There are some few messages you will listen to, and your life will never remain the same in this year.

There are few new year sermons you will hear, and the year automatically becomes a special and unique year for you.

There are one or two messages that will unlock potential great locations for you  in 2022 ,this message is one of them.

I welcome you into this new year its my prayer that in this year you will never find yourself in the wrong location at the right time to be in a location in Jesus’s name.

pray this short prayer: My father my Lord let me be at the right location at the right time in this year in the name of Jesus.

In physics the importance of point A to point B cannot be underestimated.

 Let's take it further to be point A to Point Z. Between point A to point Z are distances as well as locations wherever a journey from one point to the other is involved, then distance is involved, location is involved finally time can not be overlooked. This is exactly what we are talking about when we say THERE.

THERE: This is the place you are expected to be at a particular time after having covered a particular distance.

Its either a place you desire to be in this new year, before the year runs out and you are telling God you want it as part of your goals to be achieved in a new year .

Also ‘’THERE’’ could be a place designed by God for you to be at a particular time having completed a particular distance.

Example of THERE by God is Abraham leaving his father’s house 

Example of THERE you desire as your goal is Jabez wanting to exit from poor live to wealthy life.

I had of two friends that went to a prophet for prayer , and the prophet told them what there future will be Mr. A was told he was not destined to really make it in life so he needs to work extra hard. He was down emotionally he felt so bad. Prophet continued his prayers with Mr. B he was told he was destined to be wealthy and become a source of blessing to others. He was so happy and shouted for joy. They both left to face life squarely 

Mr. B that was told will be wealthy never care to work anymore, he will just put his seat outside playing games like ludo and draft with any jobless and irresponsible person like him. When people asked if he was going to work, he tells them never to worry, that his wealth will soon come.

While Mr. A continued with his lazy act, Mr. B was busy doing all his best to make sure evil prophecy does not manifest in his life. He a was working smartly with all seriousness.

Finally, Mr. B (the man that was profess no wealth destiny) built a house and moved there while Mr. A (the man that was profess will be wealthy ) evited from his rented apartment. It was Mr. B that rescued Mr. A by providing him accommodation. 

Mr. B is a good example of Jabez who desired to be THERE. 

Getting THERE is not just about you are moving from one point to the other, it also involved some things.

Going and getting to the right location involves:

Determination

 (: a quality that makes you continue trying to do or achieve something that is difficult)   Numbers 13:30

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”

Avenue 

a way of approaching a problem or making progress toward something

Proverbs 4:18

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

Tenacity  

the quality or fact of being able to grip something firmly; grip.

the quality or fact of being very determined

the quality or fact of continuing to exist; persistence.

Proverbs 10:4

“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”

Moving with the right people 

“You will hardly find wrong people at right places. Choose to be at the right places and you will find the right people who will inspire you to make it happen!”

1 Corinthian 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Zechariah 13:6

“And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.”

Colossians 3:13

13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Upgrading.

raise (something or self) to a higher standard,

an occurrence in which one thing is replaced by something better, try to replace old knowledge with latest once, replace old ways of doing things with latest ways, to improve oneself.

Paul updated himself even to win souls for christ.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23 ESV 

For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

Nothing is bad in selling your goods or showcasing your services on social media but (be careful)

Discovering. 

to obtain sight or knowledge of for the first time

to find out something that you did not know about before.

James 1:17

“A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

Diversifying.

make or become more diverse or varied.

enlarge or vary the range of products or the field of operation of (a business).

What does Ecclesiastes 11:2 say about diversification?

Solomon actually left us with some investment advice about proper diversification in Ecclesiastes 11:2:

“Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth.”

Do dot put all your eggs in one basket 

Connection.

a relationship in which a person, thing, or idea is linked or associated with something else

a situation in which two or more things have the same cause, origin, goal, etc.

Ephesians 4:16

from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Prayers: This is the key that opens the door to every previous point listed to help one get THERE in this new year.

 Jeremiah 33:3

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Having said all this one thing is sure, Matthew 15:26 -

Jesus answered, “It isn't right to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs.”  To get there in 2022 is children’s right.

Habakkuk 1:13

“Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: 

Give your life to Jesus, let Him have His way in your life, release yourself to Him, you can be rest assured that you will get THERE in this Year.
