GOAL + OBEDIENT+FAVOURE=CROSSING WITH PLENTY

No goal + Disobedience + Disfavor = Crossing empty

This is a message that will make this cross over a unique one.

If you pay full attention to this sermon, 2022 will be one of the easiest years you have ever seen.

Pray this short prayer: My father,my lord do not let me cross over empty handed

WHAT IS EMPTINESS?

the state of containing nothing.

the quality of lacking.

Synonyms: bareness, waste, desolation, destitution

Emptiness is:

Nothing

Lack

Failure

emptiness is empty

finally, emptiness is Goalless

everyone does shout about new year resolution, the question is this, how many of last year resolutions did you act on?

Many life remain the way they were in the previous years because they  kept crossing  over the same way.

·       dancing,

·        shouting of HAPPY NEW YEAR at the top of their voices.

·       Praying like thunder even using their honey but without a single goal.

 

GOAL

What exactly are life goals? Simply put, they're the things you would like to accomplish in your life. Life goals are the big things to work for and accomplish such as getting married and having a family, starting your own business, becoming a big-time executive, or traveling the globe

 

Its summarized to be the object of a person's ambition, this required

Ø Aim.

Ø Desire result

 

 

  Effort: a vigorous or determined attempt.

 aim: the end toward which effort is directed

desired result: overall outcome of something that you are trying to do or achieve

 

OBEDIENCE IN GOALS ACHIEVEMENT

Exodus 12:35

“And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:”

As you are crossing over tonight you need to cross with a goal,

 another thing that needs to accompany the goal is obedient.

The night the Israelites were crossing over, the bible says “And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses”

This means that you must be ready to obey God, leaders and principles to wealth and breakthrough.

Exodus 12:36

“And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, this shows that Goals with obedient will attract favor.

One major question you need to ask yourself is this: now I am crossing over or have crossed over  to 2022 WHAT AM I GOING THERE WITH/ or WHAT AM I IN HERE WITH, secondly what am I going there TO DO or WHAT AM I IN HERE TO DO ? The earlier you can answer these questions the better.

 

MAJOR KEYS THAT WILL HELP YOU HAVE AN UNSUAL PROGRESIVE EXPERIENCE IN 2022

PLANNING IS INEVITABLE

In your course of going into 2022, do you ever consider pondering on what Jesus said in Luke 14:28   “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”

Proverbs 21:5

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.

 

PAYING ATTENTION TO YOUR JOB AS YOU PRAY

Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

Pay serious attention to your job, pray concerning your job

Update, upgrade and broaden your horizons meaning you need to diversify .

 

DO NOT CONTINUE OR JOIN THE MIRACLE SEEKERS OR MANA MUST FALL CHRISTIANS

Deuteronomy 28:12

“The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.”

Make the Land available for God to send His rain on it.

Secondly get your hand occupied in other for you to have the work you are doing blessed by God.

 

Finally, the ball is in your court you can decide to go with a goal and go with plenty or you go with no goal and go with emptiness.

But for those who wants to go into or already in 2022 with goals, you don’t forget Zechariah 4:6b

, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

So, you need Jesus, and I want you to remember Matthew 15:26

“But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.”

Give your life to Jesus, you will not be in 2022 empty handed.

EMMANUEL: God be with us

Record in Matthew 1:18-23

 Isaiah 7:1-14; 9:6;

 

 

At one of the darkest moments of Judah's life as a kingdom God proclaimed one of the brightest promises ... provided they walk in obedience with His plans and His Word.  There may well be times in your life when you will find yourself closed in on all fronts by the enemy ... what do you do when this happens?  For some people FEAR causes them to do nothing … which leaves them frozen in inaction and ripe for the enemy?

Mostly in Africa and west Africa precisely Ember months seems to have been characterized with so many dooms unfortunately we see it happening life and direct, I could remember vividly during my family monthly cross over prayers, in October 31 to Nov. 1^st , I told my wife we need to prayer against building collapse , Diseases, then I went further to tell her we should intercede for Nollywood that with what I saw one popular Yoruba Actor may not survive it because he was gone already but people still see him alive. Unfortunately, in order not to create unnecessary fear or panic I only posted some pregnant words on Facebook that says “HMMM NOV. A MONTH OF UPWARD AND DOWNWARD STROKES, MAY WE NOT BE INVOLVED IN THE DOWNWARD STROKE IN JESUS NAME” that was my post.

Unfortunately, all these things happened one after the other just because there was nothing anyone could do about it.

Many times we are surrounded by darkness, either as the result of our disobedient to God’s word or not. The usual reactions of most are: frustration, doubt, fear, anxiety ...

One of the greatest prophecies about Jesus' coming into the world as a babe was the name He would have: "IMMANUEL" which translated means: "God with us!"

The name "IMMANUEL" which translated means: "God with us!"

Things were so terrible for Ahaz and Judah according to Isaiah 7: 2-9 so also God is saying He will be with us today regardless of what is happening in our country as well as around the world , building collapse , kidnapping , Covid – 19 , Delta variant that is 60 percent more infectious than Covid -19 and now Omicron that is 500 percent more infectious than Delta according to Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding, an epidemiologist and senior fellow at the Federation of American Scientists (FAS),

In the mist of all these happenings God promised to be with us.

Having said this giving all these assurances it’s not without a condition

The condition God placed here is if thou will obey

Deuteronomy 28 :1 “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”

Obedient is one of the conditions to meet for Emmanuel: God be with us to be activated in our life.

What is the instruction from God?

Luke 9:35“And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.”

Are you ready to hear him? Does His voice not irritating to your earing ?

Before baby Jesus was born

Jesus did not just appear without some unnoticeable events.

for example, in Matthew 1 vs 19 “Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a Public example, was minded to put her away privily.”

This shows that disappointment, shame, hopelessness, and public disgrace where the first thing that appeared before the birth of Jesus was announced.

Finally, the presence of Jesus put an end to all these bad things in a believer’s, life.

 

Three common things that were not noticed

Ø Ahaz and Judah according to Isaiah 7: 2-9 were in trouble before God promise them Emmanuel s

Ø In Matthew 1:19 Joseph and Mary were clouded with insult, shame, and public disgrace.

Ø Emmanuel was born not in the best hospital.   Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Action point

For Emmanuel to really be in action we must, recognize Him as our Lord and savior and we must obey him.

If you have not given your life to Emmanuel this is the right time to do so, once you have done so you can call him in time of trouble He will be with you.

SERMON TOPIC: AFTER NOTHING. 

A miracle is considered an event that occurs outside the bounds of natural law. During His ministry, Jesus performed more than 40 miracles including healing the sick, changing the natural elements of nature and even raising people from the dead.

Looking at the two bible passages we are considering for this sermon,

 Luke 5: 1-11

 1.And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

2.And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

3.And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

4.Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

5.And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

6.And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

7.And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

8.When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

9.For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

Luke 5:1-11 talks about Jesus ministering in teaching while on earth 

John 21: 1-14 talks about Jesus appearing to His disciples the third time after he was risen from death.

One thing that is common to these two different events is that

1. there was overnight toiling without a single catch, 

2. time wasted.

3. They were exhausted 

4. That they were washing their net means all hope lost

5. they’ve accepted faith of loose.

6. Jesus appeared 

WHEN JESUS APPEARED WHAT HAPPENED?

One common thing is that man must have exhaust all his or her abilities, do everything naturally. Don’t forget I told you, A miracle is considered an event that occurs outside the bounds of natural law.

So, when Jesus appeared nature bow, and its law suspended

Looking at the month of November in a year, its simply the second to the last month.

A month many people reach a conclusion that nothing can either change or happen again,

A month where all hope seems to have been lost.

A month the majority overlooked to talk about the new year.

A month most people conclude, nothing good can come out of the year again since they show no sign till Nov.

I have good news for you brethren, miracle can still happen, natural law can still be suspended for your good, but you have a part to play

You must be occupied.

 John 21:3“Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.”

You must be ready to Give towards His works 

Luke 5:3

Jesus says Nets(plural) Simon says net(singular)

What is the result?

Great cash 

Lack to Sufficiency 

Beggar to giver 

Uncoverable blessings “they beacon to other fishermen to help them”

Becoming a source of blessing. 

Finally 

It does not matter what has happened since January to this November, it does not matter what happened since you were before to this day 

It does not matter how long you suddenly or gradually found yourself in these situations the good news is that miracle can still happen.

Do not forget that the food that is meant for children cant be given to dogs 

Give your life to Jesus a life without Christ will be filled with crisis .

Baal-perazim

Ba'al-Perazim (Hebrew Owner of Breakings Through) was a place in ancient Israel. It was the scene of a victory gained by David over the Philistines (2 Samuel 5:20; 1 Chronicles 14:11). It is called Mount Perazim in Isaiah 28:21. It was near the Valley of Rephaim, west of Jerusalem. Some scholars suggest a site 4 km northwest of Jerusalem, named Sheikh Bodr, to be identical with Ba'al-Perazim. There is also a valley near Mount Sodom in the Judaean Desert, called "Wadi Perazim".

 

Where is Perazim?  Findings shows that  perazim  was a fertile vale (Isaiah 17:5), to the Southwest of Jerusalem (Joshua 15:8; Joshua 18:16; the King James Version "Valley of the Giants"), on the border between Judah and Benjamin.

The name in ancient times may perhaps have covered a larger area, including practically all the land between Jerusalem and Bethlehem

 Meaning that it consists of both Mountain and valley but we are standing on the Mountain

What happened at Perazim?

.

Analysis of Isaiah 17:5 5. The corn is the glory of the fields (Ps. 65:13); but, when it is reaped and gone, where is the glory? The people had by their sins made themselves ripe for ruin, and their glory was as quickly, as easily, as justly, and as irresistibly, cut down and taken away, as the corn is out of the field by the husbandman. God's judgments are compared to the thrusting in of the sickle when the harvest is ripe, Rev. 14:15. And the victorious army, like the careful husbandmen in the valley of Rephaim, where the corn was extraordinary, would not, if they could help it, leave an ear behind, would lose nothing that they could lay their hands on.

 

 From all these analysis . when thinking of Mount Perazim what should come to your mind ?

7 PRAYER POINTS FOR RETENTIVE MEMORY BY O.O ABEL

Pray this prayer !

Oh Lord my God let this prayer program work for me in Jesus’ name.

It is a tragedy when students or candidates who seriously studied for their examination gets to the exam hall and remember nothing from what had been studied.

I am not talking about students and candidates wasting their precious time and life on useless and irrelevant social media activities.

I am only talking about those who really know what they are doing with their life and destiny.

How on earth will you tell me it is an ordinary or natural occurrence for someone to take his or her time to study, and on getting to examination centre/ hall everything studied wiped off from the memory, only for it to be fully returned and re-installed into the memory after they left the centre/hall without been able to write anything or type any meaningful answer on the computer. I will say a capital no. its an attack that must be dealt with

These are time wasters, destiny destroyer, you as a person must not subscribe to them, you need holy anger by fire to chase them out of your life.

As you pray these prayers may God answer you by fire in Jesus name.

 

PRAYER POINTS.

1.  1 Thessalonians 5:18

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

PP: Begin to thank God who opened your eyes to see that something is wrong.

 

2. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

PP: Ask for the forgiveness of your sin.

 

3.  Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

PP: Father give me authority over this demonic attack, that caused me to always forget what have studied at the examination moment in the name of Jesus.

 

4. Matthew 8:31 – 32 “So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.”

32 “And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.”

PP: For these reasons I command every demon saying I will never remember what have studied at the point of examination to go out of my life in Jesus name.

 

5. Proverbs 2:6 “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

PP: God of Solomon I call on you today! please release unto me today, your wisdom knowledge and understanding that could not be altered by any demon   in Jesus’ name.

 

6. 2 Kings 1: 10 “And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.”

PP: I __________ (mention your name) called on the God of Elijah today to always guide me to anywhere i go been examination hall or not, to consume every demon assigned to waste my destiny in Jesus name.

 

7. Luke 21:13 “And it shall turn to you for a testimony.”

PP: All my prayers today will turn to testimonies in Jesus’ name.

What is a new song?
A new song is :
1. Such a song is said to be “new” when expressed with fresh vigour and appreciation on account of the new experiences of the “singer.” Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, along with shouts of joy.

2. A song you compose  and sing consciously or unconsciously as a result of miracles .

3. A new song is a song you sing from the depth of your heart while you table your request before God.

4. A new song is any song old or new that first come out of your mouth when you receive good news.

5 A new song is that song you sing withing you internally whenever you have a deep though over where you are coming from, where you are and where you are going.

TWO DIMENSIONS OF NEW SONG MOOD

1. To make request ( if that request will not be granted at that point it won't turn to an acceptable aroma it will still be in storage ,but if it will become a new song  the aroma must be accepted and miracle must follow it immediately .

2. To appreciate God. The miracle had happened already but it will be made permanent and continuous as you sing a new song.



AT WHAT POINT DOES A SONG BECOMES NEW. ?
This is a revelation. When you sing either old or newly composed song most especially when in a request mood it turns into an aroma and goes to God,  once the aroma is sweet and satisfying to Him congratulations you are set for a miracle .
If it's in a Thanksgiving mood the accepted aroma will usher in more testimonies for continuity and permanence.

EFFECTS OF A NEW SONG
1.It gladden your heart
2. It increases your faith  by hope and assurance that accompanies it.
3.It shows you are grateful or you wholly relied on God.

4. When you sing, you obey.

Singing isn’t an option in scripture. It’s a command. God’s people are more than just

invited to sing — we are commanded to sing. When we sing, we’re doing what God

asks of us. (Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:18-19)

5. When you sing, you walk a God-designed pathway to joy.

Sometimes singing gives birth to joy and sometimes joy gives birth to singing — but

persistently in Scripture, joy and singing are bound together. (Psalms 63:7, James 5:13)

6. When you sing, you glorify God.

Singing has such a unique way of bringing your heart, soul, mind and strength together

to focus entirely and completely on God. In an age of distraction, singing grabs the

attention of all our senses and focuses us on God.

THOSE WHO SANG NEW SONGS IN THE BIBLE .

Exodus 15:1
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”

If you are singing without Jesus in your life, it's just an entertainment, it's just a song from happiness which can vanish at any time. Allow Jesus in your life to sing a new song from a joyful heart.
