INTRODUCTION: Here God asked Cain as to the whereabouts of his brother Abel, Cain replied, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Gen. 4:9. Since that time there had been a direct link between those who refuse to be their brother’s keeper and the sin of murder, Eze.33:6,8,1, John. 3:14-15. May the Lord open our eyes to behold the enormity of the dangers inherent in the failure to be our brother’s keeper.
THE LESSON OUTLINES:
1.LOVE COVERS ALL SIN” HAS A DOUBLE MEANING
2.SOME PEOPLE ARE DIFFICULT TO LOVE: BE MERCIFUL TO THEM
1.LOVE COVERS ALL SIN” HAS A DOUBLE MEANING
All Christians ought to know that we are to be our brother’s keeper’s without being told. In fact, there is only one proof that you know where you are going; and that is to full of brotherly love. Because this is the evidence that you love God at all. True brotherly love is the way to excellence and the statement that love covers all sins has a double meaning :
(I) you will forgive all offence from someone you love and
(II) you will do all things possible to bring a loved one to Christ whose blood cleans from all sins.

2.SOME PEOPLE ARE DIFFICULT TO LOVE: BE MERCIFUL TO THEM .
Some people are surely difficult to love. If you can not help them through, then help them through mercy. God regards assisting the poor as doing Him the almighty a favour. He will surely repay. He will bless the merciful one with mercy and deliverance. So that you will discover that: give and be given “is not applicable to material things only. But if you ignore the needy, you hinder your own prayers and invite a curse upon yourself.
